you never NEED a bottle heater...i dont have one, and i live in PA. i would strongly suggest AGAINST a dry kit....it is far more dangerous. i have a Zex wet 55 shot, with the 65 and 75 jets. no pressure regulator, stock ignition, no purge kit, no A/F gauge...the car that it is on ran mid 16s...like a 16.55 without the bottle, and cut about a second with the bottle...with just the 55 jets.

Are u running NOS, NX, or ZEX because the NOS and NX are cheaper kits ,adn i was wondering your take on them, and as well i dont want the nitrous to engage in first gear so how would i go about making it only engage 2nd gear at about 3500 rpm?? Also i dont want to have to get the highest octane fuel everytime i go to the gas station, so i was thinking of running an auxilary fuel system but i dont know how to run it and what all to get, so if you could help me w/ that it would be appreciated.

From what I've read, the Zex kit is the best because it's computer controlled so you won't blow your motor as easily. P.S. My buddy Adam has a Zex 55 wet shot setup w/ Zex bottle warmer, purge kit, bottle gauge, and all the lines. It's never been installed and he's letting everything go for $500.
