Would help if the link actually worked... What is it?

*EDIT* - Based on your double post, you are referring to an electric supercharger.

Let me just say that there isn't a single electronic supercharger that will have a positive benefit on a vehicle. To operate effectively, they would need to draw crazy amperage, drawing more horsepower than they'll make. The conversion from hp, to amps, back to hp will never work as efficiently as a conventional csc, s/c, or turbo.

You could do that, but what he meant is that, there is only so much those electric motors can take until they just burn into a little ball of melted plastic

that other battery would still have to be charged by an alternator.

Not to mention that the kit in the link is a glorified bilge pump from a boat or other such application. They are NOT meant for automotive air induction use. I highly doubt that they would be able to create a static dead-head pressure of 1psi on their own, let alone 1psi on an engine that normally pulls -10psi during normal operation.

Now in a perfect world, our 4.3L engines injest 0.1518531cu.ft. of air per 2 revolutions of the crank. So at 2000rpm, we are flowing ~152CFM of air. Now at 5000rpm, that balloons to 760CFM. Now due to pumping losses, pressure differentials, etc, we do not flow that much air, but... Now I stated this just to let you know what kind of flow is required. Something like that could NEVER supply that kind of volume. It would only end up as a restriction.

Lol. No prob. Cheap performance mods? Unless it is used stuff or crappy stuff, cheap and good performance mods are hard to find. Intake, headers, exhaust, and reprogram ecu: i'd say about $1500. But, it's a great way to start getting some GRUNT out of these underpowered Blazers.

Edelbrock TES headers/y-pipe
K&N intake
Ported TB
2.5" exhaust straight through
Remove cats and resonator
MSD coil/wires
Shift kit
3000stall torque converter
dyno tune- then cam/heads/valvetrain if you want some serious power n/a
