My transmission wont shift into 3, it goes through 1st & 2nd fine, but when it goes to hit 3rd it just revs & I know that the front pump seal is bad. I am VERY limited on funds & can't afford the $1300 rebuild on it, so would it be best to buy one from a junkyard or get a rebuild kit & try to LEARN how to rebuild it myself? Any suggestions are welcome! I also have to replace the 3rd brake light, windshield & the whole passenger side view mirror. Also having an issue with the 4 wheel drive. I have the push buttons & when you press it, it sounds & feels like it kicks in, but the front wheels don't actually engage. Any ideas how I can do this as cheap as possible? I have to get it fixed by the end of November because that is when I have to get inspections, plus I can't drive the camaro in the snow LoL

It's a 1996 4x4 LS (4 doors)

For the tranny, that was happening to me going into OD, the guys on here suggested I get my TV cable adjusted... I did and problem fixed. I don't know if its the same problem with yours.

*EDIT* Oops, I didn't see that you had a 4L60E, you don't even have a TV cable... sorry, I should read the whole post before I start typing away.
