i've often seen people bag a 4x4, i just don't know how to do it. would it be really hard? if it's not, i'll do it, but if it is, screw it, i'll just slam it.

wooooooooo. alls i gotta do is take the torsion bars out, put drop coils in the front. take all the front differential out, and notch the back. of course, me sounding like it's going to be easy is a lie, because it's not going to be. it'l take me allllllll christmas and prolly to v-day. anyways, i'ma see if i can get started on it.

1/4 or 1/2 what valves, lines, gauge line? I would go 1/2 fill valve, 1/2 line, 1/8 gauge line, and 3/8 dump.
All together the rear cost me about 250 in link, 120 for bags, 50 for brackets and the notch. The front i paid 250 for tube arms, 160 for bags, and a couple hundred for the brackets. Overall with redoin the rear and completely doin the front around 2500. Not including the tank, valves, or compressor

its safe, the torsion bars are just the front suspension, what are you worried about? You can take out the crossmember and still it will be plenty strong. The bars just hook into the lca.

my brother said the same thing, and he too said it'd be impossible. he's not a fan of anything not deisel, though. i'll probably end up getting pissed and just do a frame swap.

in regards to slammins15. the vehicle will be bagged. therefore it is ok to remove the torsion bars. they are the suspension from the factory yes. but they will be removed and airbags will be placed instead on top of the upper control arm so that the 4x4 will still function, the airbag will act as the spring and shock in this case, some people choose to run an airbag and a shock still. and the steering tie rods will still hold the spindle like stock, but you are doing away with the torsion suspension and adding an air suspension.
