All of the ones that were sold at auction when the depot went under near my parents were excelent shape. Just one word of caution. If you ever get one, DO NOT breathe the air if you sand it or sand blast it. I guess there is some really nasty sh!t that they used for rust prevention back then and it can do a number on you!

swartlkk you think its bad that they call your Bravada a Blazer. Some of my coworkers called my Blazer a Jeep. how in the hell does a Blazer look like a Jeep.

To the unkowning a Jeep is a generic term for off-road capable truck. Like Kleenex is for Facial Tissue. How many people do you hear ask for facial tissue? They ask for Kleenex. Same difference.

But how rude.

Back on subject.
Here is a S10-Blazer with 2 1/2 ton military axles and either 48" or 52" tires. I don't remember which at the moment. He is running the stock 4.3L engine, tranny, and t-case. Not bad for a little S10 now is it?

WTF?! That military axle one almost looks fake, to my little graphic designer Photoshop eye...I don't know...there's something strange about that photo...but if it's real...WOW!

well, I do this sort of thing for a living, and it looks a little bit worked on. The average Joe might not see it, but I can see there are bits of blurriness in places that don't look right. It's easy enough to do it you have the right programs and know what you're doing.

It looks very real to me still, I just get suspicious since I know what my own abilities are with Photoshop and how easy it is to doctor stuff. Is this a friend's Hanr3? Or something you found on a site? Either way, who cares...it's still a wicked Pic of the Day, and that's the whole point of this thread, not to determine validity of images.

I'll let you decide for yourself if it is fake or not.

I never would have thought that possible and it actually be functional. Like I said...wow...and I stand corrected.

Not out to prove you wrong.
Did you follow the link?
These guys build some serious toys. Most of em are into the rock crawling competitions, Tough Truck Challenge, and a few others that you read about in the 4x4 mags. They wheel em hard.

What would you think if I told you his rear axle is held in place with a trailer hitch? Follow the link and see for your self.

I like how he chopped the top off. I might be doing something very similar once the '87 becomes a trailer queen.

Here's an all-Canadian Jimmy that's in my neighbourhood. Notice the Blazer doors...it's one of those hybrids like Tittlebitties
