What is the stock tire speed rating for a 2001 blazer.
also at what speed does the governor stop out cars from going any faster?? mine shuts off at 97 but is it really 97???

cut out should be 97-98mph

Just go to a technician and remove the cut-off... it's a thing of about 20 minutes, I did it last Friday!

Tires are speed rated for around 100 mph. If you really want to go faster then that, get better tires first. Blowing a tire at that speed isn't pretty. Makes for great racing, but they have roll cages and Hans devices.
