hey swart,  hypertech emailed me askin for the SN so i sent it they should be gettin back to me tellin me what needs to be if anything to use it on another truck... but here is the sn in case u still wanna know   SN: 1022493  PN:30024

Cool.  Regardless of what they say, I'll take it.  I do believe that if you restored your old truck to stock, it should be unlocked.  But its not like its that expensive to have it reset.

hey sawrt, bad news man. hypertech emailed me back. they said it has to be sent back to be reset.. they also dropped a bomb and said it costs $200.  what a damn rip off

p.s wouldnt drivin to binghampton put you in the whole for $40 in gas anyways with the blazer? lol

Probably.  LOL

And yeah.  WTH is wrong with them...  $200 for a reset...  They are required to unlock if you reset the PCM to factory default before selling your truck though.  If that was done, it may work for me now...  Do you think it is still locked?

i think so.. i have returned it to stock a couple times and each time i put it back it it still had all my info... im not sure if it will work on yours.... want me to send it and if it works you can pay me if not just send it back?

That would work.  I'll PM you the info.  We'll see from there.  I am so tempted on those heads, but I don't have a ton of money right now with the house and christmas.  I may be able to finagle (is that a word) it, but a better time may be after I know how much I'm getting back in taxes if you still have them at that point.
