I think you can reset it simply by removing the code from your truck (setting it back to factory defaults).  If this is so, I'll take it for the $75.  Even if not, it's still cheaper than going to the dealership and having them fudge around to change my tire size!  LOL.

What is the model number on it just so I can check compatibility and also check with Hypertech as to the resetting proceedure.  Any $$$ I can save is worth while!

*EDIT* - I believe you have the 30024.  In order to not have to send it back to Hypertech, your truck would have to be returned back to stock code before sending it.  I'll take it, even if you have to have Hypertech reset it!

Tim, do you still have your blazer?  Or is that gone now?  Cause if you still have it, all you need to do is revert back to stock programming with the hypertech, then it will be unlocked again.  But if you don't have it anymore, no problem.  I still want it.

nah the blazer is long gone...  the setting were stock when i traded it in  but the programmer itself stores your vin number so you cant use it on any other vehicles .. the only way to re set it is sending it back i think

Hypertech's website states that if you use the programmer to 'return to stock' programming, it unlocks it...  I'll have to find the section of their site where I read that.

Heck, if I can just send it back to them to get it unlocked, then I could try it out and see.  How old is the programmer?  Model #?

Oh crap.  Sorry.  When you get back, let me know that information.
