I just bought a 96 blazer and want to put on bigger tires. I basically want to put on the biggest tires possible without raising it up that much. I plan to buy a body lift kit. What height increase do you recommend? Also can I keep my stock 15" rims?
THANKS

Stock no lift, biggest tire without rubbing is 30".
2" body lift, biggest tire without rubbing is 31".
Yes you can run your stock 15" wheels for both tires.

Most common size 30" tires are 30/9.5R15.
Most common size 31" tires are 31/10.5R15.
You won't have any real issues with either of those tires sizes. Realize that the increase in tire diameter will change your speedo and odometer. You can pay the dealer to reprogram for the larger size tires. Last time I checked is was 8/10 of an hours labor rate charge. In other words if the dealer charges $100 per hour for labor. The cost to reprogram is $80.

Most after market tuners will do it as well, altough they cost more money.

Or you can do like I did, and live with it. I run 30" tires and my speedo is off by like 3mph @ 60mph. I am really doing 63 instead of 60mph on my speedo. Make sense.
