Yeah, looks like you could either make up new ones or take and cut/grind/sand it back down so it was nice and smooth.

You'll probably be left with holes in the face of it because I think that it's a sintered metal part that is hollow, so I would take and fill in all of the hollow spots with a high strength epoxy to add back in any strength that is lost by removing the pedestal.

Geez, I hope I can post this, I keep having to re-log on...ERRR. Anyway, the guy that had this truck before me replaced the broken back window with plexiglass that he had cut exactly to fit (got broken into). He re-inforced where the hinges are with double-thickness of plexiglass squares. I'm wondering if this year had hydraulic arms to keep the window up (I would think so) but there aren't any there. There also isn't a wiper arm. I'm going to call around to salvage yards for the glass, but what other parts do I need?

Mine has hydraulic lifts to keep it up. They don't work but they're there

I don't have a wiper

Basically I have the glass with the wind deflector and that's about it.

Not sure if yours is like mine, mine's an '87

How do you keep it open? That's kind of a pain... A rear wiper is supposed to be on mine. I'm hoping if I buy the arm that it'll work-just start right up- ha.
