Pretty much brand spankitty new
lol

Got some smoked tails on the way already... Haven't decided if'n I'll go to blacked out headlights yet... we'll see...

She's got less than 30,000 miles, has 3.42 gears, 5 speed, and LSD... Not the best snow tires though... No plowing through 4 feet of powder for me this year!

Nice, a 5 speed. I like rowing  my own gears too.
We got the automatic on out Blazer but in my Ranger....

Keep track of your mpg. It would be interesting to know how much better the 5 sp is.

According to the fueleconomy.gov site... there's no diff between the auto and manual... I'll let y'all know the mileage when I get to the empty mark

Nice looking truck in the perfect setting. It should work well for you in snowy Alberta. I am also a fan of the standard tranny for pure fun and better control off road.

Actually, it doesn't seem to handle the snow as well as my old Mazda B2600 did... Might be just the tires (I think they're whatever came on the vehicle... not sure...) But then again, I think the LSD on my mazda was a tad more aggressive, lol, and I think the front auto locked when it was put in 4x4...

Tires make a world of difference. Driving in snow is like driving on dry pavement for me.

Yeah, I noticed those, lol ;)

Ground clearance helps a lot in the snow too! Though, my Blazer is only like an inch or so lower than my Mazda at most... Then again, my Mazda had snow/ice tires up front, and walmart mudders on the rear...

I think my tires might also be a touch too wide. A little narrower does better in the snow...

All I know is my Blazer had some issues with 2 - 3 feet of snow, where my beater Mazda plowed through 4 - 5, and kept pushing the Mazda shaped snow bank for a good 20 - 30 feet before I backed up due to poor visibility...

Out of curiosity, does anyone remember what the factory tires are on these things?

Just wait until my new tails get in ;)

And when I found out if the push bar I'm looking at fits or not...

It should, since it's for a '98 - '01 Blazer...

Yet, the S10 version goes for '98 - '04
same model #, lol
