yea... but I wouldnt put a 2 inch on it.... all the 2 inch lift kits do is crank your t-bars and replace the upper control arms.... its hell on the front end.... they also come with warnings that read "not for hard off-road use".... if ur just wanting it for looks it would be good, but if its for play...... not a good idea....

So if I go with a 2 inch suspension lift you think it will really lift me 2 inches. I just want it for looks but there will be times when I will do minor off roading, like this would be seldom. What are the risks I face if I do this?

k..... mudsliner.... trailmaster makes a very good 5" lift for your truck.. .I would reccomend checking it out.......

bmx.... the 2 inch lifts kill your ball joints, and also puts your cv shafts a extremely dangerous angles. If you get them in a bind you could break them. It cranks your t-bars to the max and kills your ride quality.... if you go with something like a 5 inch it comes with drop brackets for everything. The 2 inch lift produced by any company isnt a great idea... I mean they are alright, but be careful.

to be honest with you... a body lift is probably your best bet...

Hey mud keep us up to date  I am interested to see which way you decide to go with lifting you truck. I was thinking about a body lift but its to expensive to have to done and I am not quite sure I would have to tools  to lift the body. So I am wondering if I should go with the 2 inch suspension lift. Its cheaper to have installed and I may be able to do it my self.

FWIW, a ZR2 is actually 3" higher than a reg 4x4.  The suspension is 2" higher and the larger tires gain an additional 1" of height.

What is a leveling kit? You going to buy it online, if so, where?

If you want the look of a ZR2, get a 2" BL, 2" shackles, and crank your t-bars 1".  Throw some 31x10.50's on a set of 15x8 rims with 5" of backspacing, get some bushwacker flares and call it a day.  You'll actually be a bit higher than a stock ZR2.

Yea that 2" BL will take you a good whole weekend to install by your self or have it installed for you for about $800. After you are all said and done you may wonder if it was better to just go with the 5" suspension.

Well once you get them installed let me know how it goes, only thing I am worried about is having to re-align the wheels (probably have a shop do that since you have to be so accurate) and that I may break a cv joint or somthing going over a normal bump or somthin.
