Here are some pictures that I had taken acouple of days after I bought my Bravada.

A parting shot with the B'ville in the background

I have already removed the hood deflector (which was broken in 3 places anyway) as well as all of the vent shades cause I don't like them at all. I had contemplated removing the running boards, but I can't do anything until I get the truck to my dads to have access to his impact wrenches.

I'll have to get some better pictures sometime after I give it a good wash again (stone/dirt driveway + rain = muddy truck).

Let me know what you think!

It's a slick looking ride...I like it...

Oh, and stone/dirt driveway + rain = muddy truck is true, but stone/dirt driveway + rain + black paint = muddy truck as well

The truck is a long way from perfect. The low light conditions are playing tricks on the finish...

It is a very sharp looking truck from 20' away, but get closer and you can see lots of rock/hail damage on the hood (chipped/cracked paint) further up. Nothing on the front where the wind/bug deflector was. The grill and front bumper are also peppered. I'm sure that this truck did a lot of highway driving in the 72k miles before I bought it. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the running boards or not and the only deflector that I left on was the rear window deflector because that one actually does something.

I don't smoke, nor do I like to run with the windows cracked in the rain so the vent shades were worthless to me. There was actually more wind noise with the sunroof open when the deflector was there and at speeds above 30mph, the sunroof deflector actually created enough of a suction that the sunroof would catch and not open! That one was the first to go. I may wash it today again... Ok you talked me into it. I just got finished washing my Bonneville so everything is still out there... I'll go give it a quick once over and post up some more pictures. Be back in a few...

I'm not seeing any bad spots... I guess we're all our own worst judges. Great photo composition by the way-the 3/4 view close-ups using the sun (star-shaped) reflection/deflection of both the cars. I'm a picky photgrapher...wish I had something that looked that good to photgraph.

Wait, am I losing my mind? You used to have a different picture of your Bonneville on your signature-right? That's my favorite picture of all the new ones you posted. Mine's so boring-how do you guys add your own personal touch to your posts? And yes, this is my first time...on a forum.

Thanks all!

Talusgirl, to add your own personal signature, you must go into your profile and put something into your signature. If you put up a picture, try to keep it below 600 pixels wide by 160 pixels high to cut down on the clutter in the threads. Also, try to keep the text to a minimum with a picture, again, to keep the signature size down. You must have your picture uploaded to the web in some form or another before you can put it into your signature. In my case, I have it under my own webserver. I really need to get them all uploaded to a free picture host at some point because I am running out of bandwidth serving all of these pictures!!!

Some of the pictures were repeats (slightly different angles), but I was in such a rush to get them off the camera, to the internet and into a post (cause of other time constraints), that I just did it all in one fail swoop and said to he!! with the almost identical ones.

*EDIT* Oh and yeah, I periodically will change my signature picture. I can't really change the one of my Chevelle because it is not picture worthy at the moment and all of my old photos (yes film pictures) of the car were lost in one of the various moves that I have made through college.

You should post what you just said, plus maybe the PM you sent me a while ago when I asked you about this, in the Help section...

Sharp looking Bravada.Glad to hear you removed the stone guard and air deflectors.I am of the same opinion they are just to much.Loosing the running boards sure will help also. Have a nice day.

The boards are factory, and I still haven't removed them yet. Probably going to happen soon though. I'd have to get under there again to see how they mount up, but I know that in atleast one spot, there are lags drilled up through the floor boards

The hood deflector was broken in like 4 places plus the missing corner already when we bought it and 3 of the window deflectors were cracked as well. I don't smoke, nor do I drive around with the windows down in the rain so it didn't phase me one bit to tear them off. I also didn't like how the wind noise was with the sunroof in vent or open with the deflector on the roof so that had to go as well.

There are more pics of the two vehicles over in the detailing section in my review of Turtle Wax ICE.
