well I'll be going back to work today after nearly 2 months off

I'll be working in a shop prepping pipe and fittings for some contest going on for the 4th and 5th year apprentices. Me being a 1st year wont even get to reap the rewards of all my hard work

oh well, easy $$$

futureshop would be a fun job..........then again I've always liked sales jobs.......maybe I just like helping people.

I did work behind a deli counter slicing cold cuts and making sandwiches at my old job.  My new job that I just started last thursday, I'm making fresh mozzarella at Stew Leonard's.  I'm training at another store to go and open the brand new store that's being built near mmy house.

Right now I'm a stay at home mom but soon...I don't know, something that pays! LOL

In the past I've...hmmm...let's see....

I've been a produce manager for a large grocery chain for 3 years, I also was a floor techincian for 2 years (you know, wax on wax off), I ran a computer aided assembly machine for a year (It assembled, taped and stacked cardboard boxes), I worked in a frozen food warehouse for a year, and I worked in a maintenance department for a large factory for a year. I've done it all, mostly. And when I was a kid I worked fast food, but that doesn't count!

Wow, old thread....I do see, however, my answer is a bit outdated. I'm now a produce manager in Harriman, TN. It's the only thing I've ever really done. I think everyone has at least one job they excel at, they're really good at, and this would be mine. I really love it, too, which helps. Anal retentiveness never felt so good!

Nice.  Electric or nitro helis?  Seems to be getting fairly popular now a days.  Few people around here have been doing that for years now.  Much cheaper than full scale to operate.

I am a full time electrical engineering student at Michigan Tech. I have been worked at Kimberly Clark for a semester on co-op as an electrical engineering intern, and I am going to do that again this summer. Otherwise I am very involved in campus activites and class so I don't hold a part-time job other than from January-March officiating Broomball (its Ice Hockey with out the skates, using a duct taped broom and a 6" diameter ball). Here's a picture of broomball

I could have sworn I had posted in here before, but didn't see a post.

For the next week and a half I am finishing up my current job as the lead (only) Imaging tech support person for my companies 3 Nuclear sites and General Office.

Starting next Thursday I start as one of three Workstation Analyst over one of the Nuclear sites, I will stay at my current home base, just in a different building (with a window view right next to the lake), and a 49% raise.  I am counting down the days as I answer questions for my temp replacement and post on message boards while watching Bourne Supremacy!

I am currently a student going for a BS in Chemistry, but I work the schools chemistry department doing chemical inventories, preping the labs for classes, disposing of waste, etc. I also do a little masonry work on the weekends during the summer. I just recently got a summer job doing test for Plasticolors Inc to make sure their chemicals are the right proportions.

Locomotive Engineer for BNSF Railroad in Kansas City

I have always thought that would be a kick ass job and one time when I was getting really tired of the BS that is IT, I had started looking into what it would take to be an engineer on a locomotive.  After I found out the amount of Math and proven on the fly calculations you have to easily be able to do I dropped that dream fast. lol
