dose anyone know how the ZR2 gets the extra 2 inches of front lift is it the torsion bars or the torsion keys, and do they/can they be swithced with thouse of a reguler 4 door blazer? same with the rear set up dose the ZR2 get its lift from the springs or from shacles, will they work on a 4 door?

The whole set up is different.  The knuckles, the cv joints, etc.  The actual trac width is wider also.  I want to do this on mine also, but it is alot of work including different rear axle and spring mounts.  Korey.

the frame mounting points for the front suspension are also unique to the zr2's

so i should stop trying to find a junk ZR2 for parts to use on my 4dr i take it then

Yeah, that is about it.  I have the local body shop on look out for me on a totaled ZR2 so I can rob the suspension.  It will be allot of work, and maybe just finding a 2-4" suspension lift would be a better route.  Then just get rims with some different offset to make the track width wider.  Korey
