Gotta watch the Nyko intercooler, it can cause burn issues, because they're not all consistant in the contacts, and some have arcing issues... the Pelican cooler is the only one microsoft says is okay. If you have issues, make sure to tell them you do NOT use the Nyko one... As far as heat issues, on the second batch, there hasn't been as many problems... I still think people just don't want to admit that they had theirs boxed up in a tiny little hole with an inch of clearance on each side, and call it "well ventilated" lol

I don't doubt it, but there's not much in the way of consistancy, it seems, lol.

the nyko intercooler is a bad isea, as it draws its power right from the xbox, messing with the current.......there is another product that plugs into the wall.......seems to be the safer way to go...... A machine with 3x the processing speed of a computer needs some sort of mechanical airation........well, it needs a couple fans built in.

Component is perfectly capable of displaying 1080p, the main reason the xbox didn't have HDMI (other than the current hardware can't do it...) is that the movie people do NOT want 1080p movies to be playable through an ANALOG connection. HDMI is all digital, which means it's really easy to impliment copy protection.

The HDMI component doesn't matter to me any because my tv isn't HD anyway. I might still get the 360 next month.. I really wanted the PS3 but that's way too much money.

One site claimed the new 360 was going to be black instead of white.

Ok. I have a PS3, Xbox 360, and a bunch of older systems. I have yet to buy the Wii. Of all the hundreds of games I have played over they years, I like Halo 2 the best. Halo 2 on Xbox Live is so fun, except for when people cheat, but hey, I used a modded Xbox online for a long time. I love the Zelda series too, especially for the N64. I've never played Zelda on the Wii or GameCube. I also loved Super Smash Bros. for the N64. That was addicting. The PS3 is alright, the games out now suck for it, for the most part. I preordered the new GTA which comes out in October, Halo 3, and Fable 2 which will be awesome. That's my 2 cents.
