I really get a blast out of going to this fourm every day and enjoy all of the comments and feedback on problems I have with my truck and truly, truly thank everybody for all help with my 1988 K5 Blazer (My truck for life).  I was just wondering, since there are so many Blazers and so many years and models, would it be a good idea to maybe split the posts from old schools Full Size Blazers '70 until 1990's, to the newer or smaller Blazers? For the most part, the smaller Blazers do not have much in common with fixing old school Blazers to me. This is in no way a bad comment of how this forum is run just thinking that we may be able to split the Big Blazers and the Small Blazers to make reading posts more revlent to the posts and searching for good stuff to read about Blazers more like your own. I would really like to see this happen if it is possible.  Just thought I would ask if other people feel the same? Please Reply.  Sorry for any spelling errors...the ieSpell did not load right...Doh!

Thanks,
Doug

*Moving to Help & Suggestion Section*

We are in the process of restructuring the site, however, I cannot say for sure if that will be in the plan this time around.  One problem I see at this point in time is that by separating things out too much, areas may become neglected.  We are attempting to redesign the forum to make it easier to find specific information and will keep this in mind in our redesign.

While there is very little, if anything, in common, I am confident that our members can answer any question you may have.  I myself have a quite extensive knowledge of the fullsize chevy truck platform from my experiences with maintaining and repairing the vehicles of family members.

Your guess is as good as mine.  We (the mod/admin staff) are still discussing how we'd like it to be laid out.  From there, we put our proposal up to the site design people and it gets put in their queue I'd imagine.  Hopefully soon.

Ditto on the great idea sentiments! I guess we overlooked that because we have the "appearance" section.

All of it is good to me...as long as we can spend real time reading post about our specific truck.  Maybe just when you log on you have already put in your type truck in from the start and get down to the specifics of what you drive.  I would also like to see  links to PDFs if possible or a picture of something that I have a question of like a shop manual.  Similar to the hot words for links to parts dealers that can help like you already have. I can't wait to see the new format.

So do we have an update on a possible date or time table of when they may restructure the site? I'm so hoping they will put Paint and Body in!!!

We need a category on aftermarket electronics. Discuss wiring in new lights, neons, mirrors, etc.

One downside is now theres alot more sections, alot of posts are going to get overlooked for longer. Need for more mods......also more than likely there will be more posts....which is a good thing.......if they get answered.......
