I love the Xtreme's look but where I live, those lower peices would be ripped apart fast.  Why I'm going for the ZR2's look instead.  Going to get some rock crawling tires... some nice flares... beef it up a little.  :)

At the same time though, i'll be putting in Halo lights, the rear lights are done already.... and I'm using the Xtreme's front grille which is now sitting in my dining room.  hahah!  It just needs paint before I put it on the truck.  :)

Hey John Doe:  Can you get a link for any places over there that you can get those flares from. Just so we can figure out for ourselves if we want to order anything or just for prices????

Rhight now I don´t know any link or detailed prices.
Most of the spare-parts were imported from usa.

But, even also for me, I´ll ask our local gm-dealer what´s the price for flares.
I´ll post them in the next days.

cu,
JD

Yeah dory, I live in a tourist-y part of Florida so the roads are nice and smooth, except for a a couple of parking lots, you could drive a car that's dropped to half an inch off the ground. I like both styles.

So, sorry for the delay. I´s busy with my company.

I hope you´re in a good frame of mind ;)

local prices for the flares: app. EUR 150,00 inc. VAT!
(not both flares, just one piece!)

My back-left door panel is broken around the speaker:
next funny price: EUR 480,00 inc. VAT
yes, 480 - not the whole door, only the panel!

another example?
ok - left mirror - estimate!.....
....
....
njet, wrong: EUR 580,00 inc. VAT

Now I know, my car is one of the most expensive cars in my local area.

Heh... I moved from NY which had crappy roads to NJ which has crappy roads.  I originally was looking for an Xtreme but now I'm glad I dont have one.  first off, only 2wd which in bad weather would just screw me completely.  Secondly the roads would KILL that truck in a matter of days... not even.. HOURS!

Needless to day, I might not be able to ever be "riding low" but I'm sure eventually I'll be riding with style.  hehe

Thanks John Doe. Now all we need is an exchange rate  HAHAHA. Doesn't sound too bad in numbers but that could all change when exchanged over to U.S or Cdn dollars. Hey John Does you got any more CLOSER pics of the Flares, just so we can get a better look at how the fit and finish is.

The exchange rate from EUR to US$ is 1,33.
(EUR 100  =  US$ 133)

1 piece of that:      (2 1/2 x 1 inch)

....US$ 200,00.....

Yeah - that´s funny.
These "small" prices insist the shipping costs and, 200% for the dealer.

As I bought my Blazer, I knew that the spare parts were expensive, but, WOW - these prices are really shocking!
I hope I will never touch an car, truck, bus, animal with my Blazer......

Oh yeah. I nearly had a panic attack when I hit a racoon one night. I hit one in my old Trans Am and it tore that car up. But this one didn't do anything to my blazer.
