I have a 1996 4 door 4X4, I have had to replace the fuel pump twice in the last 5 years. prior to the first change everything was good. Since the first change the fuel gauge floats around depending on if you accelerating, going uphill or downhill.  I thought that the second change would fix it, but it didn''''t.  the first change was done with a GM part the second was from autozone I believe. could this be a problem in the tank with the baffle system, or perhaps a ground somewhere by the tank?
