2005 trailblazer fuel filter location - 3/4/2007 4:03:34 PM    jerryh20   Posts: 2 Joined: 3/4/2007 Status: offline first time  to change fuel filter and can't seem to locate it - i followed fuel line from tank to engine - is it under a cover somewhere? There isn't any cover on the side of the tank - which side does it show the filter? guess i'll call the dealer today, couldn't yesterday. (in reply to Kordog) Post #: 3

For the 2005 model year, the fuel filter was changed from an external mount to internal version that is part of the fuel sender assembly. Our Envoy XL had the same problem, when we took it to the dealership to have it fixed, the mechanic said he has had to work on them often. _____________________________ "Never argue with idiots.
