Has anyone checked out the new E-Turbo, Its an electricity powered turbo that hooks onto your CAI filter. The HP gains are up to 70 hp depending on the size. It has a switch inside the car that activates it apparently because its not for use more that 30 continuous minutes. If anyone wants to see it here is the link.

There worthless dont waste your money. If you do I nominate you for the Sucker of the Year Award. In the short time Ive been a member here there have been a lot of topics dicussing this. Try a search.

There's only been one effective electric turbo style thing that I've heard about, and it needed its own set of batteries, because of the massive amount of current draw it needed... An effective one would NOT be able to be run off your stock system...

Even then, for the price, the HP gains weren't really worth it, because of the increased weight from the batteries...

man those turbo only works super on the wee wackers car like civic the 1.8''s thats like a lot of power lol but if you going to put turbo put something nice u know. lol ur car deserves better

I don't want it, i just thought it was creative.

True the turbo wouldnt be much use, but if you are using more than one, you have greater pressure right? The dealers recommend that for engines that pull more than 1000cfm, to use two.

Their website doesn't seem to list any CFM numbers for their turbos... Most e-turbos seem to flow around the 250CFM mark... Which is an air restriction for most motors... Heck, the old carbed 2.8L had that much air flow through the carb...
