jason thats some nice stuff, how much did that lift cost ya, the fan is all powdercoated? it looks great.

Thanks, my dad got the hoist many years ago for free from a buddy who pulled it out of a shop who upgraded to the 4 corner style.  The rad support it powdercoated, but the fan is painted.

Mojo you should think about an electric fan.  It will free up a little power too and moves plenty of air.  I am going to install mine on low speed and try that out first.  If that's not enough then I'll just rewire it on high.  I've read that almost everyone runs em on low normally, and on high with the A/C on.  I'm removing my a/c though.  Also will hardwire in a bypass switch in the cab to turn on high if needed.

Well mojoman I test fitted my engine today after work.  All I have to say is take your time.  You might want to get a hammer and do all the clearance mods that the JTR manual says to.  Luckily since I have a 3" BL I didn't need to do any of that stuff, and it's still a tight fit.  You will be glad that you took your front end apart as well.  Once I get my front end back together like the suspension parts so that I can put the truck back on it's wheels, I will implant the new heart of my blazer.  =)

Hah ya I know.  I left them all there for the time being.  It looks worse than it is.  Once things start going back together it will clean up.  Any remaining wires will be removed.  My truck was carbed though.  Yours?

Well I removed my AC.  I will either modify the heater box for a little more room or get a heater box from a non AC truck.  Also removed the cruise control.  I have 80' of new purple wire loom, and will probably order 80' more just in case.  I have 20' each in 4 different sizes.  I want to keep it as clean as possible and will be very basic.  Are you gonna run a carb too?

Are you planning on painting everything under the hood the same color as your truck, like the inner fenders, firewall?

How was taking the clip off?  I had to cut off quite a few bolts, wasn't fun.

Edit:
I bought my loom from here:

And he has green too.  I bought the 80' one before.
