the worst date i ever went on was actually kind of sad...
i was talking to this girl over the internet (as most of us shy guys do) and i asked her if she wanted to hang out sometime and go to a movie or something. so we meet at a local record store (the kind that still sells vinyl). i will just say that she didnt appear to be very... errr attractive, but it really wasnt a problem for me. i was just there to have some fun, right? anyways.... she must have been treated like royal crap by every guy before me because everything i said something nice or offered to buy her popcorn she looked terribly confused and asked me why. i think i tried to hold her hand at some point and she asked "why are you being so nice to me?" "are you really having a good time or are you just saying that?"
she was so incredibly self-concious that she couldnt believe some guy was just hanging out with her on a date AND being nice to her at the same time. eventually it got to the point where i was just super-uncomfortable at all and couldnt even watch the movie (drive in double feature, cant remember the first movie but the second was gone in 60 seconds.). she just kept asking me if i wanted to leave. it sure didnt seem like she was having any fun, so finally i just gave in and said fine lets go. we ended up leaving about 10 minutes into gone in 60 seconds. said goodnight and that was that.
to this day i still wonder what she actually expected from a date... i think i might have talked to her a few times afterwards.

I had a girlfriend that was like that but her mood varied with the weather. Rainy was depressed, sunny was happy, thunderstorm was mad, snowy was drunk, No B.S.. I had never met anyone quite like her. After we broke up I found out that most of the moodiness was a ploy for attention and that she had some other mental conditions, and she was Imo. She was hot though...

why would we be mad? Ultimately there has to be some degree of attraction in order to have a relationship......as far as what I think as "hot" versus what someone else thinks.....well that's a whole nother story...whatever blows your hair back......diverent strokes..different folks....makes the world all the more interesting....now lets try not to make this a discussion on what "hottness" level you need some one else to be....and continue on with the dates!!! good stuff!!

This isn't a date, but I recently met someone online...chatting.......she sounds like EVERYTHING that I want in a new relationship...Great personality, seems to be good with kids, has 2 of her own kids like me, doesn't do drugs, drink or smoke, has her own home...which shows stability IMO, has a great job etc....we chat for a couple weeks and she keeps asking me to meet her for a date and get to know each other...I keep backing out probably just being shy, but we get around to sending each other pictures and not to sound shallow or anything, but Physical attraction is definitly IMPORTANT! I threw up in my mouth a little,...lol and I almost fell out of my chair when I saw her picture..... How can someone be so perfect in every other way and be such a complete dog! I honestly thought that from all of the shiiiitty relationships that I've had with decent-to-good-looking women that looks no longer mattered to me....but I guess I was wrong ....lol.

Not 100%...maybe 50% at the most. I've been out with lots of guys that couldn't have been models or porn stars (yes, I said it!) and they were great guys...but I think there's gotta be at least one thing you're attracted to, physically.
