I have a K&N cool air intake system and a chip in my '01 chevy s10 blazer 2wd 2dr. I would like to install some headers and a cat-back system. But I don't know the brand I should use for the headers. I am thinking of using a flowmaster muffler over the gibson muffler but I don't know what size I should use. Should I use the 3 inch exhaust system or the 2 1/2 inch system?

sounds like you have the same questiont at I have. I kinda want a full high flow exhaust system with a high flow cat with a 2.5 or 3" diameter BUT I think that I might just go with a high flow cat and a cat back system and leave the headers and downpipe alone for now...I'm still deciding. I can only find cat-backs for the ZR2 or 4x4's or 4 doors but no luck with the 2 door 2WD. If you find anything, let me know.

don't waste your money on a high flow cat...you already have one. the only restrictive cats are the old bead-filled style. the one you have (honeycomb style) is all the aftermarket "high flows" are. the only real restriction in your exhaust is the manifold and the muffler. so i'd just go for the cat-back if i were you. just tryin to help a brotha out!
