Thats right, a minivan  We thought about it and with the twins coming, a 4 door jimmy isn't enough room for 3 carseats plus strollers, diaper bags, etc.  Too bad, I really liked this one.  Oh well, at least i get to keep my 95.  I may have to throw some 20's on the van or something.  Pimp it up a bit

sorry you have to get a minivan.  But congrats again about the twins.  Yea, put some 20 deep dishes on that van.

Don't forget to put a nice dark tint on the mini-van windows....lots of room in there for a kicking sound system.

Thats funny, I had a Venture and then went to a Blazer. For a van its got some pretty good pick up speed and very roomy.

We're also probably getting a van soon, but we are looking more at the Montanas, which IMO are built better and look nicer.

Too bad you'e gettin' rid of the truck...I'd buy it if I were closer!

I'll have you know, that in the snow, the Venture rocks for drifting around corners, for a FWD... The push to lock and push to release e-brake is pretty damned nice...

The 3400 is a pretty solid motor too, 60 degree V6 is the way to go!

U,X,and V vans are great vehicles, If ya need any help with it post up...I know them well.  And Jenn.....a Montana is built with the same parts a Venture is, just a bit different in what you look at....dash...lamps etc...but very much the same thing.

Yes, they come off the same line, but they buit a bit better interior-wise and small little things that make the difference, ya know? PLus I thinkthe Venture slook like very other van out there, and the Montana has a little bit different look than everything else. PLus I'm pretty sure the Montana has higher resale price for when the kids grow up LOL

I know many people that love their Ventures, and if we can';t find a Montana thats' what we'll get as well. Good luck with the twins Mike!

Thanks for wishing me luck, I'm definatly going to need it.  I was actually looking at a montana at work, but it was a little out of my price range.  (I like the trim on those better too.  A lot sportier.)  It was fully loaded, but the body was in pretty rough shape.  Then this venture got traded in.  I checked it out and all it needed was the little things:  Brakes, tires, tune, and outer tie rod.  The intakes were already done which i  was psyched about.  Any GM tech here knows how much fun intakes on those 3.4s are to do on ventures or aztecs and such.
So anyways, my boss hooked me up and he supplied all the parts it needed and I did the labor on my own time.  I love those little benifits of being a tech at a GM dealer.

The 3400 isn't too bad to work on... At least from what I've seen in my parents' Rondevous or however it's spelled...

Good Lord I hope I never EVER have to buy a mini van! I don't plan to have any more kids for some time, so my 2 kids fit great the Blazer for now. And good luck with the twins, I kinda know what it's like to have twins, mine are 3 years apart, but you wouldn't know it. The 4 year old is really small for his age, and the 18 month old is really big. It's funny, I'm constantly having to tell the baby to stop beating up his big brother!! LOL!

You should get a VentureSS. I see them all the time down here. Course, I really don't know what makes it an SS and never bothered to look.
