descent ride, deff a truck shock, pretty stiff, but way better than the sloppy stock shocks that look like they have been on the blazer for 12 years

I've enjoyed those shocks as well. I installed them about 1 1/2 years ago

Where did you buy them? How much? Does Autozone have any decent (firm/stable) shocks for these. My 97 LT is soft as hell, but then again 190k miles has a tendency to wear shocks out.  Also what do the stock shocks look like? The ones on my Blazer are yellow but dont look like a stock shock.

i have seen lots of blazers with yellow shocks, i have heard that bilsteins came stock on the blazers and i think bilsteins are yellow...

i have Monroe Reflex on all 4, i got them at autozone for like $55 a piece. i like them, they are much stiffer than what i had on mine.  i wanted either the edelbrocks or the ranchos but they were both a little too expensive

Bilsteins should have yellow bottoms and blue tops. They were factory stock on my Blazer, may have been on yours.

I had orange stock shocks, can't remember what brand they were, but I replaced with Red Edlebrock IAS Shocks. These are very nice and helped a lot with the ride. Lots less body roll, but it is still there.

I need something  that gets rid of this damned body roll. After driving the vette it is killing me. I know it is an SUV and it is not going to handle like a sports car but it is really bad.

After looking again my stockers were orange also, cant see the name brand because they are so dirty and nasty. LOL

I was going to say that if Bilsteins weren't firm enough you probably need to weld your suspension together. I don't know what the orange shocks were, but Chevy went to Bilsteins to address the body roll complaints drivers had. Mine are plenty firm.

I'm not sure. I liked the rancho's I got them from ebay. for under $200. I think. i never had any problem with body roll with my blazer. How's your bushings? I had all my buddies wondering about that thing cause it drove more like a sports car than an SUV. Figure that one out.

I ended up going with rough country nitro 7000 shocks from JC Whitney. These things are VERY thick and look like a substantial piece of equipment. I went with them over the Rancho and Edelbrock because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews on the site.

That works. I'm gonna be checking into shocks and a lift for my truck here shortly. Once some bills are cleaned up and my quads are running good. it will be time for some mods to my truck. new clutch, and full exhaust headers back more than likely. Already have the intake. And upgrades to my ignition system to try and improve my mpg and towing capabilites. On average i'm hauling around a 1 to 1 1/2 tons with a 3 ton truck. haha go figure. But i gotta up grade my rear suspension to handle the load. sags a little which is understandable. But that drives me nutz! Let me know how those shocks work for ya. I've been partial to rancho. Just cause my first truck I ever owned had them put on it by my brother. It was a hand me down truck. and those things lasted forever. heck still on the truck and still taken a beating. :)

The orange shocks are De Carbon a french subsidiary of Bilstein if I recall. Top class shocks both.
