Does anyone know if my 2005 Blazer has a 466 New Venture MG-5 Tranny in it?  Im trying to get a new shifter for it with a shorter throw.  I keep missing second gear when im driving.  I hate the throw in this thing!  Any help is appreciated.

Peace in the Middle East

maybe your 2nd gear synchros are gone.  Check the RPO codes in the glove box.  A check at a dealer or on the net should give you results. good luck.
