I haven't totalled or kept track of how much I'm into it for lately.  Probably 10-12K and still a few more for the body and interior.  Yea I'm sure you will get em mounted.  I just went with what others have used.  http://www.hotrodsusa.com/store/bills_300.html Fits really nice and can be mounted two different ways.  I have it mounted in the high posistion, as the low just cleared the gear box.

Yea the bracket is deffinatly worth it.  I don't know too much about any alt brackets on that site though.  Heres a link though http://www.hotrodsusa.com/store/bills.html What's the problem that you are having with it?  The alt brackets I am using are from here http://www.alangrovecomponents.com/S.B.Long_Pump.htm Just browse the site and find the correct ones.  He has them available for short/long water pumps and for heads with and without accessory holes.  When I called I wasn't able to order from him because he doesn't ship to Canada.  I bought the brackets from http://www.4x4ac.com/ just type in "alt" into the search and should come up with something.  You could also call Alan Grove and see who ships to Canada.

hey sorry havent posted for a bit but my dad says hes going to try to make alternator and power steering pump brackets but im pretty sure its going to take loads of time to do so, so i am just going to give him the money to order in those brackets cause it will save so much hassle.
i got a new job at a auto body shop so i dont have much time to work on it again but atleast i have the money again to buy various things for it
if im not too busy next week i'll grab some photos

hey so i found a bracket that would work for my power steering pump but i was having lots of problems with the alt. i finally found out wat the problem was, i was using a short water pump and the shorty doesnt have bolt holes where they needed to be so i switched it to a long pump and sure enough the bracket that i had for my alt basically fits! i say basically because there is one arm of the bracket that needs to be bolted into the intake, but my intake is different than the one on the vehicle that the bracket came off of but it will be a decently easy fix
so enough talking heres some pics

Yours is coming along. =)  Are you putting the inner fenders back in?

Not much progress, been doing little things on my Jimmy.  Finally got my steering shaft put together.  Flaming river joints and a borgeson shaft.  Couldn't figure out how to safely get the joints apart to powder coat them too.  Much nicer than the stock unit.

Edit: Forgot I had this pic from last month.

looks pretty dam cool jason
so ive run into a dum problem
for some stupid reason my alternator and power steering pumps pullies line up
soooo i have to move the power steering pump in half an inch so they will be on different grooves so i can run 2 belts right
so thats gonna take me a bit more tinkering :(
oh and jason i was thinkin, next summer i might bring my truck out to the rumble in the valley at port alberni

So both accessories line up on the same groove?  Dude if I don't have this thing done by Thunder in the Valley (Aug), I will die.  As soon as I get done a few mods on my jimmy, I will focus on the blazer.  I just want to fire the beast up.  I love open headers.

but ya they both line up on the same groove of the pulley
so i obviously cant run 1 belt so i need to move one of them inwards so it will fit on the other groove
such a pain in the a$$ cause i painted my power steering bracket and everything now im going to have to cut it and blah blah
:(
but you will have it done by then!
well u beter anyways cause i wanna race ;)

Yeah sounds like it'll be easier to mod the steering bracket.  Didn't build this to be a racer, just not practical for what I wanted.  But we'll see ;)
