hey guys got some pretty cool news
i always see this guy rollin around in this wicked lowered blazer and i talked to him today and long story short
he said that his business is lowering vehicles, sooo he said he can lower my blazer up to 4 inches and will be easily under $1000
so ya i'll get mine lowered about 2" maybe even 2 1/2"
im excited cause i didnt know it was that easy to lower a 4x4 i heard it was a biznitch
so yay!

ya well he said it is a bit harder than 2wd but not a whole lot
so im pretty pshyched about it cause i thought i was going to have to live with a pretty big gap above my wheels

I have done no work to it at all over the last like month or so.  I've been working on my jimmy.  I think I might take some time off work to focus on the blazer.  I need to clean up the wiring under the hood and then bleed the brakes.  Toss some insurance on it and take it for some test runs.  Then after that all checks out I will do the body work.  I'm still shooting to at least have it in August.  You still gonna come to the island for the Thunder in the Valley?

oh nice.
and no i will prob have my truck done by then but im coming to vancouver island at the end of august and the thunder starts at the beginning of august right?

but good news
my truck goes into the mechanics shop monday to get all the wiring and mechanical done.
just have to finish getting the front end on and shes good to go
they said they will pick and it now and then and will take about 2 weeks
once thats done were going to sand her and paint 'er
and hopefully that will be all lol
so ya im pumped
its been waayyy too long :(

hey jason wat did you do about an oil filter?
my remote system looks like its not going to work cause my oil lines rub on the front driveshaft
did you get the offset filter from JTR?

Yeah I bought a corvette offset adapter off ebay, but it doesn''t work with my pan.  If you want to try it I will send it to you.  Right now I just have a shorty oil filter, but will put in a remote system once I research them a little more.
