Take a look at this intake: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=017&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=270111142757&rd=1&rd=1

It seems good for the price - a long cone and heat shield. My question is this: I have a 04 Blazer, but the item says its only compatible with up to an 03 Blazer, but an 04 Jimmy. Is there really a difference between the 03 and 04 Blazer engine compartment? This will fit in my 04 Blazer, right???

Yes, it will fit.  The engine compartments are the same.  Just remember that shipping is $20, so for everything, it'll be close to $70....

Great, thanks for the quick reply. $70 for a filter and heat shield with all the piping... that ain't bad, right? It seems to be pretty much the same thing you'd get with Spectre or even K&N. And I kinda like the black pipes.

What do yall think?

The only things is....I don't know how effective the heat shield is.  It seems to be pretty small and it looks like a 2-piecer.  The K&N heat shields are very effective because they properly block off the rest of the engine compartment from the the air filter, thus not allowing the engine to suck up that hot air.  So I have no idea how effective this is.  Other people will probably post their opinions soon.  Good luck!

You may have a point about the heat shield. I can't really tell from the photos. Here's another photo that shows it a little better:
