i have an issue with my 88 blazer, whenever i turn the headlights on the needle on my fuel gauge goes down 1/4-1/2  tank, could anyone suggest a reason why this would happen. let me know thanks.

first thought is ground issues.  gheck the grounds under yout hood,, from battery, engine to chassis, etc.
