Its got 280 degree advertised duration and hydraulic lifters. Nice solid street cam but pretty mild for the drag track. approx. 350-370 horse (in reply to ThirdCoast) Post #: 5

RE: S- Series Nationals - In St. Louis - 6/20/2007 11:14:52 AM    bigjsp   Posts: 77 Joined: 2/5/2007 Status: offline We figured on playing in super gas / 9.90 class on the motor, maybe a couple times in SuperComp/ 8.90 with the nitrous this year. The 383 is not a user friendly or cheap motor.  We stall it 7000 rpm using a 7" convertor and turn it 9000+.
