Here is another full banner, with a small tagline below it, and the base seal for the site.  The black bar can be typed in to say whatever-Moderator/Founding Member/Contributor/etc.  I actually have these made up but they're saved as a different file type so I can change them at any time.

The reason I used stock photos was to preserve longevity for the site.  I know even on this forum there are members who don't post all that frequently or at all anymore because they have moved on to another vehicle.  By keeping specific people's trucks out of the banner I hoped to keep it relevant for all members of your site.

EDIT: I also have the main banner broken up into 298x200 sections just in case.  I looked at the Blazerforum banner and saw that it was divided up so I thought I'd plan ahead in case you guys needed it.

Thoughts?  Changes?

Ok, I can add the BOWA seal to the first banner in the spot where 94blueknight suggested and send you that as well.

Do send that. Just for grins if nothing else. Wait, that gives me an idea, what if we had several versions of the same logo but each one with different blazers. That way each time the site loads its covers a different set of blazers, thus attracting all crowds. Just a thought.

More logos=more time=more work=more $$$.  Just kidding man.  I guess if you could figure out a way to have random banners it would work.  So you're saying you like both?  I'll PM you the first banner with BOWA seal in a minute or two here.

Personally i think both logos look great. The globe is the only thing im undecided on, I dont know if i like just the states or the block with the "highlighted" states. Both look pretty neat.

wow lotta talkin whiile i was at work today lol. imo i like the first one better and add the seal where i suggested b4 i think that would be best. i think it would be kinda important to show who the founders were but ik where u comin from w/ the stock blazers tho i plan to stay in this thing forever and hopefully always have a 1st gen i like em. and i like robs idea of the diff blazers showin up but what if instead of having a whole diff banner y not just have the blazer part change. like where diff blazers fade in and out (ik lil more compicated prolly) just a thought tho. rob that sounds good with the site lookin forward to the site comin up. if u have a chance shoot me some sketches of the site or somethin i have microsoft frontpage or if u just wanna send me the html code straight up i can view it that way too doesnt matter. just thought i could maybe help u out. i could also possibly help in the payment to help keep the site goin or to get the domain just give me more info on it and i'll see what i can do. wow i'm excited this is cool creating a club cant wait till we start meeting and stuff

Wow! I've been gone for a week, but looks like you guys made a lot of progress. I like the 1st banner with all our blazers on it!

Both Banners look good, although I like the first one better. The idea of switching up which banner gets loaded each time someone views the page is cool. Having the blazers switch out while looking at the page seems like it would be pretty tough to do, but it would look sweet. Sorry I havent been around. Its just been one of those weeks, and the next 2 are going to be like that too. Let me know if you need anyhelp on anything for the site.

aight so i was talkin to carlo and he was askin me a bunch of questions which made me think of some stuff for the club. since we will soon have a site goin thanks to RCars2 i think we should think of some things. 1. a common logo that could become a sticker for members to put on their blazer to represent us (nothin to big) 2. a centeralized location of where we will be meeting and when we'll be meeting. ik RCars2 lives in AZ but said he would drive up since he used to live in lacrosse. so we've got rcars2 from lacrosse, lennyblazer from appleton, millertime21 from IL, me from sussex (milwaukee area), and carlo from waukesha. the mid point of all of us kind of comes in the milwaukee/waukesha area so this might be a good centralized area to meet. ik we can go off and do other kinds of meets but just as a regular meet place we should think of one.

ik the milwaukee auto show is coming up at the end of feb here (i wanna say like the 23 or somethin) so maybe we could all meet and go to the show on a sat night or somethin. just an idea

if anyone else has any ideas be glad to throw them out here and we'll all give in an opinion.

o also we could maybe make some t-shirts or somethin

Well I got my blazer running again today, so if it stays running I might be able to make it up there for the show.

Very kick a$$ there man. I like it.

I can definately make the forum work with that design. Speaking of which, i still havent made much progress with that. I completely forgot that finals were coming up so im putting alot of time into that at the moment. That and working the long shifts that i have been, I've gotten about as far as getting pricing for a domain and figuring out how to install and setup a forum on the site but havent gotten anything put in place.

I will get the domain at least reserved today at least, just gotta deposit a check.

I did PM RCars2 an updated version of that banner with the word BOWA in the middle like you suggested.
