Hello  I have a 98 LS 2wd with a 4.3 automatic with 155,000 miles and a blown head gasket. I have priced a new long block at $2,400 (No need to put new heads on an old bottom end) and thought if I'm spending that much, might as well start a small block project and would like to know if any one has made the swap and how many mods were done to make the swap a success

But then again, a simple search would have yeilded the same results as well as links to JTR.com, the guys that literally wrote the book on s-series v8 conversions.
