I suggest that we put a sticky in the new member area that would instruct the new members on how they can update their signature to include their vehicle information (year, make, model, engine, chassis & drivetrain configuration) as well as any other information (within reason).

Example say for me:
2000 Olds Bravada 4 door 4.3L AWD

That pretty much covers everything that would be needed to be known to help aid people in helping me fix a problem (pretty much any problem) that I may have.

Now, my sig has different stuff in it, but a bare bones sig should atleast include the year, engine & drivetrain configuration (2wd, 4wd, awd).

This would make helping others out much easier and that way, they wouldn't have to remember to put that information into their posts when they have problems.

You also have to check the box next to 'Always apply signature to posts' or something like that so that it sits under each one of your posts like mine.

Speaking of new members, I've noticed that a lot of them post their tech questions in the new member forum. Yes, you're a new member, but that's still a tech question!
