Hey - thanks for the info.  There's also an interesting article on hotrod.com that shows how you can actually use a slightly modified Vortech 350 turbo kit to boost the 4.3 to 500 HP!  Not sure how much it costs, but if it's cheaper than swapping to a 350, it makes a good alternative.

That article looks to be for the carb'd 4.3's, not the FI'd.

set-up is changing. Getting a master power T-70 .70 a/r hotside. redoing all the boost piping. so mine will be for sale. as well my turbo.


BTW- you can boost carbuarted 4.3L's just as much as an EFI 4.3. that goes for any motor.

You can get 1300hp out of a 4.3L. just gotta find a crankshaft that will be up to the task. Im also getting some heads off of a nascar 4.3L. so i can turn the boost down and make more power.

Starting to collect parts for a build.
