Shifting - 6/26/2007 6:56:32 AM    74green Posts: 12 Joined: 11/20/2006 From: Bulverde, Tx Status: offline I have a 1978 K5 4wd blazer with manual trans. I dropped a new motor in it, put on a new clutch on the transmission and now cannot get the Trans to shift into any of the gears. The blazer wasn’t running when I bought it so I am unsure if maybe something is mechanically wrong with the transmission…..It just wants to grind going into every gear….Ideas? Post #: 1

If you put it in gear, step on the clutch, is it actually disengaged? If it's ok and you engage the clutch, does it move ok?
