Okay, so I know in my s-10 blazer I already have 7 wires going to the back for a power brake setup. I just bought a new popup camper weighing in at over 2000lbs and it has a factory set of brakes on it. I need to wire a 7 prong power brake setup on my truck by friday. I am not putting it on my blazer tho. I want to put it on my 1998 C1500 Cheyenne. It does not have a tow package and currently has a t-connector 4-prong harness on it. I need to upgrade to a 7 prong with a brake balance controller. How do I wire this??? I dont think this body style already has the port under the dash to plug and play with so I really need some help!!!!! thanks..

Sorry I don't know the answer, I'd stop by U-haul or one of the many camper outlets to ask and maybe get a wiring diagram.

On my 1999 Tahoe and 1995 silverado i took them to U-haul and they had it done in like an hour or two and it cost next to nothing for install. I havent actually run one myself but i'm told its not hard. If i still had either vehicle i would crawl under the dash and tell ya what to hook up but both are sold.
