I believe i'm the youngest, at 17, and i'm not turning 18 till july. Although i am young, i bought my blazer myself, with my own hard earned money. thats more than about 90% of the kids at my school can say about themselves. I think i have the right to hold my head up.

i respect both of ya'll.

I however, did not pay for my car.. i do pay for everything i do to it though, if that counts for anything. but i got this car only 2 years old, basically brand new, and i keep the best care of it more than anyone i know of... i guess it just depends on the kids and where they're coming from huh?

That's great you guys. It's nice to see teenagers these days that don't get everything handed to them on a silver platter. You guys will grow up with values to respect, I am sure.

my first car was a 79 trans am that i bought myself when i was 13. it definatly is hard work to make that kind of money at that age. props to guys for earning your rides! i remember at my highschool, everyone was given new cars that they just took for granted. i didnt mind so much the people that actually took care of them and knew what they got, but the snobby bitches who thought they were better tahn every one else, i couldn't stand. i held my head up high for knowin i actually worked for my car.

In reply to Canadian88. Im also 17, payed for my blazer with my own cash. Including my $750 repair lol. But yea, i totaly agree with you, i hate the kids at school with like 05 mustangs that daddy bought them. And they never take care of their cars and usually wind up wrecking them. They dont care if they wreck em b/c there parents go and pay the even higher insurance rates along with buying them a new car.

I have bought all of my vehicles with my own cash. I bought my Chevelle when I was 14 and had it mainly rebuilt and ready to rock by my 16th birthday! My Bonneville is the first car that I have ever had to get a loan for, but at the interest rate I've got, it wasn't too bad to get a loan anyhow.

I agree about the spoiled brats that are out there now. I love wiping the floor with those numb nuts in their riced out honda civics with my Bonneville. Before my Chevelle got put away, those retards knew better that to mess with it. They seem to think that because my Bonnie has 4 doors that they can mess with me.

Really? Is that the best you can do? They're expensive and I'd rather go with other speakers for that price.
Get a Brahma: http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~acoustic/products/subwoofer_drivers/adire_brahma/

Vid of 4 15" Brahmas and I believe 8 MTX 1501Ds: http://www.supermotors.org/getfile/250720//ScottieJBrahmasBreakingDoors.wmv

All are in great shape, in the original box with users manuals. I may offer a discount for those interested in more than one. Not interested in any trades at this time. All are modified to accept higher voltage and lower impedances. I ran them at 1.4 ohms strapped at 18volts and got about 2250 watts per amp (4500 per pair) Were used to set a dB Drag Racing World Record (164.8) and to win a MECA World Championship.

Oh, here's his website, just saw this: http://www.scottiejohnsonfanclub.com/video.htm

But I'd say get a 2nd vehicle and window tint for Blazer.

What kind of vehicle you thinking of? A running one, because I'm not sure about that budget. I'd get a piece with no rust. Start out with a rolling chassis all fixed up and frame painted, work on the engine and everything, then go about body work, then interior. Good investment if you can work on it. Or get a Festiva or something. An Aspire you can swap in the Mazda B18 or something. Go hill jumping or whatever.

How about keyless Lambo doors. I mean on all four doors. That would be outrageous!

And outrageously expensive. What, $2800+? Go buy a Lamborghini. Lambo doors are neat, but not worth it compared to what you could spend for that amount of money. How about a supercharger and nitrous?
