The intake might not have the same part numbers as the ones currently availiable from AEM, as Ryan's doesn't have the DryFlow filter... But the AEM website lists the part # as 21-8005DP or 21-8005DC depending on if you get polished or powder coated.

Hey! cai's alllllllllll mine.

Ryan.....my payment is in.........you have a pic of the fuse holder? or any other small, cheap goodies you can ship with it.

I have $183.01cad. in my paypal account and I'd like to use it all, rather than have a few bucks in it.........I dont plan on using it again for a while.

cool cool....ummm, I need an anl for 1/0......curious if I can make it work.....

183 cad.=174.33usd.

I'll take which ever fuse holder has bigger inputs for the wire.

shall I send your payment for the cai and ANL?

and If they're the same size I'll take the kicker since it has a fuse already. I guess that spends pretty much all of it

ok i checked em both out and with the rings out, i could stuff some stinger 0awg in there.  it was a tight fit, but i got it in, so it def looks like a 4/0awg fuse holder.  thats how they usually come anyways.  the kicker one looks like its gold plated, so id say thats the better choice.  so you can send me all your money  ha ha.  my paypal is rfehr613@comcast.net

How would I wire up and what benefit would I get from the 1 Farad Capactior? I would be adding it to my current system which has a 1000 watt Profile California Amp and two 10" Kenwood Typhoon Subs in a Q-Logic Box . It is currently being ran to with 4 gauge wire IIRC. Thanks.

Also I am making this setup easily removable (ie. the power cables plug into each other and so do the RCA ins, since I still want to be able to haul stuff occasionally without the system in the back. If this makes any difference.

not quite sure what u mean by easily removeable but its not real hard to unscrew some screws on an amp and cap.  IIRC, you just splice.solder an extra foot of wire to the ground and positive of your amp.  i think your supposed to keep them no further than 1ft from your amp.  then hook up the cap to those wires.  you also gotta run another tiny wire from your amps remote wire terminal to the caps remote wire terminal.  caps are used to prevent light dimming

Okay what I meant and what I should have explained before, was that the amp is mounted to the box and so I would mount the Cap to the box as well, and that the I am making it so that the entire thing box and everything is easily removed from the back of the truck so that I can put the seats down and haul long/large things in the trunk.

Well I will think about it and let you know in a while if I want it or not. Thanks for the info.

Edit: would it be safe to mount it in this fashion if I want to still be able to remove the entire box assembly? For example, I know if the charge is not completely discharged from the capacitor it would still have a charge and could result in electric shock if the wires are touched or you touch the bare end of the positive wire and are grounded. How would you completely discharge the capacitor to make it safe to remove?

well you could use a distro block to connect the cap and amp.  so then when you wanna remove it all, you could just disconnect at the distro block for ease.  but then ud hafta tape up the power wire in your truck or pull the inline fuse so you dont short it out on some metal.

i have a tool for discharging the cap.  if you buy it remind me to give it to u.

okay thanks for the info, I was thinking I could disconnect the power wire from the battery or have some type of plug that would have a cap on it to insulate the end.
