I was actually looking at the General Grabber A/T's

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=General&tireModel=Grabber+AT+2&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=095SR5GRAT2OWL&fromCompare1=yes&place=8

I compared them to a lot of tires there and they are decently priced (cheaper then the others I was looking at), have a higher warranty, and they were rated fairly close together. Plus they have a slightly more aggressive tread pattern in my opinion.

I really like these tires. they smoke the BFG A/T's. does anyone have these tires to testify their tread life and function.

BFG AT's are the way to go, my friend has BFG AT's on his ranger and has put 8k miles on them and they still look new (thats offroad and on road driving + lots of snow). These are the tires I am going to put on my blazer this fall.
