i did a conversion from a 1978 chevy 350 blazer, to a chevy 454, i bolted
the engine to the transmission housing to housing, and it all matched up,
but when i went to bolt the torque converter to the flex plate, the torque
converter seemed to be sitting up, about 3/8 of an inch, the bolt patterns
of the flex plate on the 350 match to that of the 454, but it seems that
they sit on different levels, how can i fix that without buying another 454
and staying away from going back to a 350?
