I wanna change my bad shocks.  I plan on doing some light off road driving, but most of my driving is work.  So what would be a good choice? I was thinking Rancho, but not set on it yet! Thanks.

I think I am going to go with Rancho, they have a good reputation and I need some longer travel shocks since I am going to tbar crank and shackles in the rear. Also I have heard that Monroe Sensatrak's and Reflex's are good. I currently have the factory Bilsten shocks and they have lasted 135k miles. They are all about the same price except the Bilstens. I have not done business with Shockwarehouse.com but it seems like they are the cheapest, have good quality and ready to help people on blazer forum. Also if you enter discount code FIVE, you get 5% off the price and they have free shipping. I am probably going to go thru them to get my shocks this fall.

Rancho's are pretty good. Little expensive but you get what you pay for. Myself i went with superlift superride shock. Its a dual tube variable valve setup that has been a dream on road and off road holds fairly firm. Plus the price was really good so i couldnt pass em up. Admittedly i wanted to get rancho's for my blazer but so far i havent been disappointed (except the summit didnt send the shock boots that i ordered )

WOW!!  135K!!  Mine is a 2000 with 62k.  I wounder if I'm barking up the wrong tree?  My prob is that I feel EVERYTHING whin im on side streets, and my ride to work is 30 miles one way.  And when I hit the bumps the truck kinda bouncess a few times, and my steering seems loose?  I'm still trying to figure all the problumes out. I just got her 2 days ago.

It is possible that the shocks need replacing, It looks like my shocks are factory but they may have been replaced sometime before 90,000 miles which means that they have atleast 45,000 miles on them. I here most shocks are supposed to be replaced between 60k and 80k. My dad's '02 suburban still has factory shocks at 75k miles.
