I finally got my blazer... it's a 4x4. I have been looking in my free time for a lift for it but my searches leave me nothing, I even went to suspension companies to see if the even make them for my truck, and still nothing. I know there's somebody out there with a lifted s10 blazer... mine's an 86' if anyone has any info as to where I may find a lift, let me know, thanks, Greg

Try searching for TrailMaster, or SuperLift. I know TrailMaster makes a lift kit, and I have heard that Superlift does as well.

Until you get it lifted, you can run 30" mud tires with no modifications. A 2" body lift and you can run 31" tires. With the 5" TrailMaster suspension lift and the correct back spaced wheels, TrailMaster recommends 32" tires. I don't really think its worth $1300 for 1/2" more ground clearance.

It is an older truck you should really consider the tried and true method of cutting the fenders. Add some fender flairs, JC Whitney makes some cheap ones, and it will look fairly clean. That and a 3” body lifts and you can have some fun. Then you should be able to run 32”s with out any trouble. I have not done this though, so it is all hypothetical. Good luck.

Not hypothetical.
I have a 3" body lift on my '87 S10-Blazer 4x4x2 and have 33" tires. I had to trim the fenders and will post pics if your interested. Trimming the fenders wasn't bad and the chrome ring around the fenders covers the cuts up nice. I'll try to post a tech article tonight, if I can get the computer from my son.
