my friend has a problem with his 89 s-10 blazer 2wd right now, the a/c comptressor has locked up and he is needing to remove it but cant figure out how..right now the clutch bolt is messing him up. i tried searching for this in the search option but couldnt find anything . if anyone can help thatd be great, he is stuck in the motor pool parking lot right now because of this. thank

oh yeah he got a bypass pulley so replacing the compressor wont be necessary. on another note freon disposal is another issue, what is the best way to make sure he doesnt mess that up. anyhow thanks for your time

I''m having the exact same problem. If someone could please answer this question so we both know how to accomplish this.

If you look closely at the bolts one side of the head is ground flat.  Orient the flat side toward the clutch and they will come out.
