I want to lift my 98 jimmy but I don't know the terminology. Somebody point me to a place where I can study up and get a grasp on what i want. I do know I only want a mild lift I was dicussing this with my father in law and he suggested I go between 2 and 4 inches but I don't know what all is involved in the different types of lifts so that is why i need to study up.

Use the search function and look up "body lift" and "suspension lift". Theres tons of topics on them on this forum so all your questions should be pretty much answered. If not, post up.
