There is an avatar from another site I would like to put on how do I do that the only thing I can seem to do is a pic from my computer itself

There should be instructions on how to upload an avatar from another site. I believe that all you have to do is type in the url. If not, try saving the avatar to you computer (unless it's animated) and then post it from there.

yes it is animated thats the prob. Can you not use animated avatars on this board???

I don't know. This is still a pretty new site and there will still be lots of questions to be asked about various things. Try right clicking that avatar, go under properties and type in that url.

Save the pic to your computer. Go to My Profile and c.ick on the Upload Your Avatar link, upload it from your computer, click APPLY at the bottom and it should be there. If you have nay troubles, I can do it for you. :):)

You can save gifs to your own computer. It will look like a regular pic on file, but I have had animated gifs on as my avatar from a file I have saved to my hard drive.
