Has anyone used Lift blocks on a front leaf spring setup? The lift kit i chose for my 84 full size didn't give me proper front clearance for the tires i've chosen.   I would hate to have to replace a brand new kit just for 2" of needed clearance. This is not a daily driver but it is still a street machine. Will front blocks be a safe and functional setup?

The last time I used a block set-up was on my '70 Jimmy about 25 years ago. The blocks worked well as I recall. The only thing to remember is to re-torque the "U" bolts after a couple of weeks of driving.
You will have to buy some longer "U" bolts.
I used my old Jimmy for some pretty crazy off roading and never had a problem with the blocks.
