Hello to all, I am a cherokee owner, and my father just picked up an '89 blazer 1500.. I have not seen it yet, but I know he got it for free. The previous owner lost the keys, and decided it was best to HOT WIRE the thing as opposed to getting new keys, so the starter is trash. My q's are about the truck itself: What type of tranny is it? Its got a 241 xfer case, so that's AWD, or am i mistaken?? It's not IFS, so what is the front axle, or how would one tell? (looking to maybe have axle cut to my size) Any help would be appreciated... ~Brandon
