Hey, Just wanting to share my plans for my 94 blazer, also you guys can throw in a suggestion or two.
2 in superlfit suspension lift 686.92
2 in body lift kit 94.99
Detroit locker 619.99
AR Black steel wheels(15s) 303.96
Toatal 1,792
With shipping.
I also want a dynomax super turbo exhaust system, its not much, but its something.
So with the exhaust and estimated tire price. I'm guessing I'll end up a around $2,100-2,300. I'll keep this a project though. First will be the suspension lift.

Please read up on the superlift 2" kit. You can lift the front with a simple torsion bar crank and then put in a set of 2" lift shackles in the rear and you'll have pretty much the same thing as the superlift 2" kit. Everything else looks pretty good.

Yeah, please don't drop close to $700 on a 2" suspension lift that should cost you over $100

I'm curyis to know about the torsion bar crank. What does it take to do it? Is it very hard. I'm good on anything, I just don't have very good cut off tools or any welding tools. What about a crank in the front and a 1.5 shackle in the rear?

All you need is an 18mm socket I believe. theres two bolts(one on each side) All you do is tighten them to raise and loosen them to lower. This will put more stress on your ball joints causing them to wear out fast. Its also suppost to make for a rougher ride. I cranked mine up about 1.5" and couldn't tell a difference in how it rode. There should be some threads showing exactly where the bolts are and what they look like.

awesome I need to jack it up to do this or will I be able to turn it while its setting on the ground? I'll do it this weekend, it needs to be aligned bad and I asume this is going to make my alignment even worse than it already is.

Yes you will need an alignment after you do this. Also you can do it either jacked up or on the ground. I did it first on jack stands, but then got tired of jacking it up and down and just did it without jacking it up. Also after you adjust them you will have to push on the front end or take it for a little cruise because they will settle and lower.

i have a 94 4x4 4dr. Got my bars cranked, lookin to level that back end up. how much $$$ and pain in the butt is it to install shackles?.... simple tools?.... a saturday afternoon??

Not to bad as long as the bolts come out. Its only 4 bolts. I bought my 1.5" heavy duty shackles from jigg at synergyoffroad.com for about $70 shipped.

Yeah I got 2 inch shackles for around 60 bucks shipped, then did a little torsion crank.
Good lift for cheap.
